IT Operations Manager

We are looking for an IT Operations Manager — a hands-on operator who keeps every access, device, and server account under full control. This is an execution-heavy role: you will personally run our internal IT and infrastructure operations, not sit above them setting policy. You will work closely with the technical team on hosting and provisioning, and with finance and legal on payments and entity structuring.

What you will do

• Issue, modify, and revoke access to services and systems, and maintain a full access registry with regular reviews
• Run onboarding and offboarding end to end, including password manager and 2FA administration
• Manage equipment procurement and lifecycle — process requests, configure specs, source vendors, arrange delivery, and maintain the asset registry
• Administer company accounts with data centers and hosting providers, ordering nodes on request from the technical team and tracking configurations, renewals, and unused capacity
• Maintain a full inventory of rented infrastructure and subscriptions — provider, account, legal entity, expiration date, and cost
• Source and evaluate new infrastructure providers, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain a pool of backup providers
• Manage provider-side risk — select reliable providers, handle abuse complaints, monitor and rotate IP reputation and IP pools, and keep migration plans ready in case a provider fails
• Handle account setup and payments — choose the right legal entity per provider with finance and legal, complete KYC, manage corporate cards and transfers, resolve failed payments, and collect closing documents
• Track infrastructure and service spend against budget and identify savings opportunities
• Maintain internal documentation and playbooks for access management, capacity ordering, and payments

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT operations, ideally at a product company with a distributed, remote team
• Practical, hands-on experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 at the organizational level, including full-scale migrations
• Solid understanding of networking and hosting fundamentals — IP addressing and subnets, DNS, VPN, and basic routing
• Proven experience working directly with infrastructure providers — placing orders, tracking usage, managing tickets, and negotiating terms
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain clear, auditable records — access registries, asset inventories, and infrastructure logs others can rely on
• Experience running or tightening access-control processes (onboarding, offboarding, permission reviews) that measurably reduce security risk
• Comfort managing multiple vendor relationships and contracts at once without losing track of renewals or costs
• Familiarity with using AI or automation tools to streamline repetitive IT operations work, such as access provisioning or reporting
• Strong cross-functional communication skills — you work fluently with finance and legal on entity selection, KYC, and payments, and with engineering on capacity needs
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where you own problems end to end rather than waiting for direction
• Comfort navigating multiple legal entities and jurisdictions when structuring provider accounts and payments
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher, written and spoken, for daily work with international vendors and teammates

Nice to Have

• Experience in VPN, hosting, proxy, or adtech
• Experience handling abuse tickets and managing IP reputation at scale
• Background at an early-stage startup or other high-growth remote company
• Experience administering IAM or password-manager/2FA platforms at scale
