IT Platform Engineer – Enterprise Data Lake

We are seeking an experienced IT Platform Engineer to help design, build, and enhance our Enterprise Data Lake platform. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities Develop and implement robust, secure, and high-quality solutions for the Enterprise Data Lake platform. Build and maintain scalable cloud-native data platform capabilities using Microsoft Azure. Apply software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design (DDD). Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs. Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and fault tolerance. Contribute to automated testing strategies using frameworks such as pytest and mocking. Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Strong software engineering experience with Python and object-oriented programming. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Experience with Azure Databricks and enterprise data platforms. Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise. Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and software delivery practices. Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles. Experience with automated testing frameworks (pytest preferred). Experience working with cloud SDKs and platform automation.
