IT Project Coordinator

Role Description The Information Technology Project Coordinator is a 1Y-contract, remote role responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the IT Infrastructure/Storage & Backup Systems. The person in this role will coordinate project schedules, track milestones, prepare status reports, and help manage project documentation, ensuring that teams have current and accurate information. Daily tasks include organizing and leading virtual meetings, capturing and following up on action items, and facilitating communication among technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. The coordinator will assist in risk and issue tracking, support change management activities, and help ensure that project activities align with established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role also contributes to process improvements, helping refine project workflows and reporting practices for greater efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

• Strong project coordination and project management skills, including organizing tasks, tracking progress, and supporting on-time delivery.
• Solid foundation in information technology concepts and environments, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Bilingual (Spanish - English)
• Proven analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making and issue resolution.
• Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project) and productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Experience in IT services, cybersecurity, or business continuity environments is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is very appreciated
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMI-ACP, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
