Hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 9:00 until 17:00
Main Purpose
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of technology and business transformation projects across Poole Bay Holdings.
The role will establish clear delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, ownership and governance, ensuring that projects progress in a controlled and transparent manner from initiation through to implementation and closure. Working closely with Business Analysis, Engineering, QA and business stakeholders, the Project Manager will ensure that scope, priorities, risks, issues and dependencies are understood and actively managed. They will be expected to distinguish between confirmed progress, forecast progress and unknowns, ensuring that project reporting provides an accurate representation of the delivery position.
The IT Project Manager will provide a clear and evidence-based view of project status, proactively identify threats to delivery and drive actions through to resolution. They will be responsible for maintaining effective project governance, ensuring decisions and actions have clear owners and deadlines, and escalating material risks or blockers when required.
The role requires a highly organised and delivery-focused individual who can operate effectively across multiple teams and complex initiatives while establishing the structure, accountability and communication required for successful delivery.

- Prevent uncontrolled scope expansion and ensure material changes follow agreed governance.
- Ensure assumptions and unresolved business decisions are visible within project planning.
- Support prioritisation of requirements where delivery constraints require trade-offs.
