Overview of the role:

Saputo is seeking an IT Senior Analyst, Enterprise Applications – Human Capital Management Process & Solutions for an existing opportunity within our organization. The IT Senior Analyst (WorkforceSoftware), Enterprise Applications – HCM Process & Solutions, will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT HCM team members, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated HR business and technology solutions. This role leverages WorkforceSoftware (WFS) time and attendance expertise and industry best practices to develop, support, and maintain the WFS application. The individual will uphold the approved solution design and ensure the integrity of Saputo’s global WFS platform and broader HR and ERP ecosystems, including Workday HCM, WorkforceSoftware, Workday Payroll, SAP HR, and other HR, payroll, SAP, and non-SAP applications and systems.


The IT Senior Analyst (WorkforceSoftware), Enterprise Applications - HCM Process & Solutions, will bring strong process and systems integration expertise and play an active role in implementing new solutions and business processes. The role requires functional and technical expertise in WorkforceSoftware (WFS) or equivalent workforce related system, with a focus on time and attendance processes and related integrations. This includes Workforce Time and Attendance (WTA) and integrations with Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, iChris Payroll, and other HR and non-HR systems.


The IT Senior Analyst (WorkforceSoftware), Enterprise Applications – HCM Process & Solutions role involves ongoing collaboration with IT and business stakeholders across HR and other functional areas to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, evaluate solution options, and support the design and implementation of effective solutions that align with organizational needs while adhering to established IT strategies and frameworks, and support, maintain, and sustain day-to-day system operations.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, applying WorkforceSoftware (WFS) Time & Attendance leading practices.
  • Coordinate and participate, in collaboration with HR and Payroll, throughout the system development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution and process design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare support, providing implementation timelines and effort estimates.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the implementation, deployment, enhancement, and support of Saputo’s HR applications, with a primary focus on WFS Time & Attendance.
  • Work independently with appropriate guidance and support from manager and other members of the IT HCM team.
  • Analyse internal and external business requirements and challenges, and recommend innovative, sustainable solutions while considering key HR system integration points.
  • Assess and document solution options, including cross-functional impacts across HCM applications, business processes, and other functional areas.
  • Prepare and facilitate structured solution walkthroughs and presentations for IT stakeholders and business users throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with IT analysts, specialists, solution architects, and software vendors on business solutions, architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance.
  • Investigate, analyse, and resolve WFS Time & Attendance production issues in accordance with established Saputo standard support procedures during regular business hours and, on an exceptional basis, outside standard working hours when required.
  • Continuously develop and strengthen functional and technical expertise in WFS Time & Attendance.
  • Collaborate effectively with remote business and IT teams across multiple geographies, languages, and time zones.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting WorkforceSoftware (WFS) or a comparable workforce management solution (Relevant WFS Time & Attendance Suite & Classic functional and technical knowledge is preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience participating in WFS Time & Attendance—or comparable workforce management system—implementations.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, labour regulations, overtime calculations, and workforce management leading practices.
  • Experience gathering and analysing business requirements, facilitating workshops, and preparing functional specifications and solution documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR business processes, particularly time and attendance, and their integration with Payroll, Finance, and other process areas.
  • Hands-on experience across the full system development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, process and solution design, configuration or development, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global, cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a complex, fast-paced environment with interdependencies across multiple workstreams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, and languages.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn, with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; French or Spanish is considered an asset.

Preferred qualifications:

  • WorkforceSoftware certifications.
  • Experience integrating WorkforceSoftware with core HR systems and payroll platforms (particularly Workday).
  • Java programming experience.
  • Experience with Power BI and workforce analytics.
  • SQL proficiency and experience troubleshooting integrations.
  • Manufacturing or unionized workforce experience;
  • Project Management experience or completion of a recognised project management program (i.e. PMP certification) is considered an asset.

Salary: $88,140 to $115,685

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
