🔎 We are looking for an IT Software Asset Management Analyst

📝 MAIN TASKS

• Support the implementation of Software Asset Management (SAM) governance, rules, procedures and best practices.
• Monitor software usage against purchased licences to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collect and analyse software usage information through global and local inventories.
• Collect and maintain evidence of software purchases, including contracts, amendments, purchase orders, invoices and maintenance payments.
• Act as a point of contact for software-related purchases, liaising with procurement teams and software resellers.
• Follow up on software compliance and optimization action plans, including licence purchase, transfer and software uninstallation.
• Analyse software contracts and extract relevant information regarding licensing metrics, purchase rules and specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering software usage, purchases, maintenance payments and action plans.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on software assets, usage, compliance and optimization, including management reporting.
• Identify potential risks or issues and escalate relevant points to management.
• Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders in a multicultural and remote environment.

🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Previous experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management.
• Good understanding of software licensing, contracts and licence compliance.
• Experience analysing and documenting contractual and licensing information.
• Knowledge of Power BI and experience preparing reports or dashboards.
• ITIL certification is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and inquisitive mindset.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Results-driven and able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Knowledge of French.
• Hybrid position based in Lisbon.
