Are you ready to show the world what you’re made of? General Responsibilities Provide information technology support to LATAM world area employees using defined resources. Provide direct support to users & contract personnel as it relates to information technology, infrastructure or enterprise systems. Work with contracted vendors to support information technology functions that fall outside of Novus skill set in LATAM. • Troubleshoot user problems such as downtime, system errors, and a variety of issues related to the network, server applications, hardware and software. Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, security protocols and data retrieval. • Ensure systems, services and infrastructure are provided in a consistent timely manner globally. Be the primary contact for the entire region but also work with HQ cross functionally in order to help to achieve the corporate goals in region. Communicate local challenges & initiatives to IT, Infrastructure and Enterprises systems global leads. • Provide technical support for staff meetings and perform preventative and corrective actions on computing hardware, account maintenance. Conduct IT training for employees to instruct them on proper computing practices and best use of company IT resources and mobility best practices. • Maintain computers and mobility devices inventory for Novus IT assets in region. Ensure preventive maintenance on hardware and keep resources performing at peak efficiency while maintaining corporate policy. • Assist with the day-to-day support of SharePoint Online by managing user access requests, maintaining site permissions, and helping ensure users have appropriate access to existing sites. Provide basic support for SharePoint sites, assist with file and document restoration when needed, and escalate complex administrative or configuration issues to senior IT staff. Perform periodic reviews of site permissions to help maintain data security and compliance with company standards. • Ensure IT support activities are properly recorded in the Novus helpdesk ticketing system and promote procedures to all users. Record incidents, requests and change orders. Report status monthly using defined formats. • Obtain proposals and bids for services from external vendors. Negotiate contracts and maintain service agreements and/or contracts. Evaluate services and recommend alternative resources if needed. Track expenses and provide reporting on costs for the region. • Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment. General Guidance for Key Knowledge/Skills/ Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and IT experience in multinational corporation. • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office software applications and working knowledge of SAP. • Strong technical background in configuring, installing and supporting desktop, laptop, services and mobile devices. • Sound organizational skills, ability to assess priorities and respond effectively to end-users within multicultural environment. • Demonstrated experience in working with external vendors to evaluate bids, negotiate and administer contracts. • Sound problem solving skills.
