About Us We are a team of passionate individuals, developing ground-breaking biological technologies designed to sustainably, and safely, control insects that transmit diseases and destroy crops. We do this work to improve lives and livelihoods around the world in the face of the growing threats that insects pose to human health and the global food supply. We are strongly committed to a set of values, principles, and behaviours, which foster a culture of trust, respect, creativity, and accountability - and seek talented people who are deeply committed to our mission, values and principles, and thrive in start-up like environments. Whilst what we do relates to developing insect control technologies, Oxitec is about people and is in service to people. See here to learn more, and to read more about our mission and vision. Purpose of the Job You will help transform advanced biotechnology and AI capabilities into scalable, market-ready solutions deployed across public health and agricultural markets in Brazil and Latin America. Supporting the product lifecycle—from product definition and pricing to go-to-market execution, channel development, and market expansion—you will help ensure that innovations such as Aedes do Bem, predictive AI platforms, and biological pest-control and monitoring solutions translate into measurable real-world impact. You will connect strategy, science, and commercialization to accelerate adoption across markets and channels, helping customers such as municipalities, public-health programs, private companies, agricultural producers, and distribution partners deploy these solutions effectively at scale. Your work will shape how products are positioned, priced, launched, and backed by clear communication materials to be expanded across the region, contributing to sustainable growth. The impact of your role will be evident in successful product launches, scalable deployment models, strong market intelligence that informs strategic decisions, and the expansion of innovative technologies that improve public health outcomes and agricultural productivity throughout Latin America. Responsibilities 1. Product support & lifecycle Support the commercial strategy for your product portfolio, helping shape positioning, target segments, value propositions, and lifecycle activity from launch through growth. Help maintain a clear view of the product roadmap and priorities, working closely with technical, R&D, and regulatory teams to keep commercial needs aligned with what we build. Contribute to product requirements and commercial rationale by gathering and synthesizing customer needs, market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and regulatory context. Act as a commercial voice in product discussions, bringing the customer and market perspective into the room. 2. Market & customer intelligence Build and maintain evidence-based understanding of customers, segments, competitors, pricing, and market trends across the Latam regions we serve. Turn insight into practical input for positioning, prioritization, and go-to-market decisions, grounded in data. Monitor competitive and regulatory developments and their commercial implications, and keep the team informed. 3. Go-to-market & launches Coordinate product launches: launch planning, narrative, value messaging, pricing and positioning inputs, channel readiness, sales enablement, and post-launch tracking. Help build go-to-market plans that connect product, commercial, and market-access priorities into a clear path to adoption. Track launch performance against defined metrics and help refine future execution. Develop differentiated plans for public-sector customers (B2G) and private-sector customers (B2B). 4. Marketing, brand & demand Translate complex technical and scientific content into clear, credible messaging tailored to distinct audiences: municipalities, public-health programs, producers, distributors, and partners. Execute the marketing mix for your products: content, campaigns, digital, and collateral to build awareness, generate demand, and support the sales cycle. Help protect and strengthen the brands across market-facing touchpoints. 5. Events & activations Plan and deliver special activations and commercial events - trade shows, customer engagements, and stakeholder-facing moments - that generate pipeline and build reputation. Own the execution details: logistics, budget tracking, materials, delivery, and commercial follow-through. 6. Enablement & cross-functional collaboration Prepare the messaging, tools, and materials the commercial team needs to sell effectively. Partner across sales, regulatory, technical, and leadership to keep product and marketing activity aligned. Measure what works across launch and campaign activity, and share insight to drive continuous improvement. 7. Pricing, Financial Modelling & P&L Contribute to pricing strategies for both biological products and digital platforms. Support leadership in building financial models and P&L projections for product launches and regional expansion, as well as business cases and investment decisions. Evaluate unit economics across different business models, including public-health deployments, software licensing and data-analytics services and agricultural products for pest monitoring and control.
