IT Specialist – Open & Distributed Solutions

Role overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join the Open & Distributed Solutions team as a technical referent.

The role involves understanding, analyzing, and documenting technical components used in complex distributed solutions running in production environments. The successful candidate should be comfortable working across application, infrastructure, and development topics and should have a good understanding of application architecture and technical dependencies.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze and reverse-engineer OPEN components that are part of large distributed solutions.
• Understand application development logic, architecture, and technical dependencies within complex environments in order to identify dependencies between applications
• Prepare decommissioning plan
• Decommissioning change management, verification, and validation after execution
• Support application managers by documenting technical analyses and prepare decommissioning
• Collaborate closely with technical, development, and application management teams.
• Work with and progressively develop expertise in tools and technologies such as ServiceNow, ADOIT, Dynatrace, Confluence, Jira and GitHub.

Required skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT, application support, development, or similar technical role.
• Intermediate French language skills.
• Good understanding of software development principles and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Good knowledge of application architecture, distributed systems and technical dependencies.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex application environments and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical findings and communicate proposed solutions clearly.
• Curiosity, autonomy and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Hybrid work with 3 days in the office in either Bucharest/Timisoara/Cluj/Brasov
