IT Supervisor (Tapestry)

Role: IT Supervisor (Tapestry)
Location: Martinez, CA (50% Remote)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $80 to $90
Summary: The Client is seeking an Information Technology Supervisor to support Epic Tapestry-based team. Supervisors will also assist our Managed Care Health Plan and other partners with support and system build deliverables and projects.

Must Have: Epic Tapestry, Healthcare IT, Team Leadership, Application Support, KPI Reporting, Project Management

Qualifications: 3 years of full-time, or its equivalent, experience as a manager, supervisor, or project lead in an information technology environment having responsibility for one or more of the following areas: application support, development/programming, data analysis and report development, systems analysis, technical support and/or network or server administration, at least two (2) years of which was in a health care information systems environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans, prioritizes, assigns and review the work of staff
• Analyze business requirements and make recommendations on appropriate system solutions
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures; monitors work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; and makes recommendations for changes to existing standards and procedures
• Selects, trains, motivates and evaluates information technology personnel
• Ensuring that all resources assigned to projects are meeting timelines, escalating when appropriate. Provides technical leadership and direction
• Ensures quality and timeliness of work performed

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Epic Certifications: Tapestry, Referrals/Authorizations, Hospital Billing, or other relevant certs
• Executive Reporting & KPI Metrics
• Coaching, Mentoring, Team Development
• Working experience with integrated Electronic Health Record systems (for example, Epic, Cerner)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
