Description JOB SUMMARY: Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping others? SPCC is seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT System Administrator/Help Desk Technician to join our team! In this part-time role, you will provide hands-on technical support to employees across the organization, helping ensure staff have the technology, access, and resources they need to do their work effectively. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, network, connectivity, and application issues, supporting equipment setup and maintenance, managing technology inventory, and responding to and resolving help desk tickets. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can work independently, communicate technical information clearly to employees with varying levels of technical experience, and collaborate closely with the Director of IT to keep SPCC’s technology systems running smoothly. This is a part-time position for 12 hours per week. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide responsive technical support through the ticket management system, including triaging, troubleshooting, resolving, and closing tickets independently when appropriate. Troubleshoot network, connectivity, hardware, software, account access, and application issues, escalating complex matters to the Director of IT as needed. Manage users and groups through Microsoft Active Directory, PowerShell, and Microsoft 365. Support peripheral equipment and technology, including setting up new equipment, reassigning equipment, and decommissioning outdated equipment. Maintain accurate technology and resource inventory records. Assist remote users with accessing on-premise resources and resolving day-to-day technology concerns, including password resets and application troubleshooting. Manage and update the organization's website in response to user requests or identified needs. Maintain clear and regular communication with the Director of IT regarding tickets, system needs, recurring issues, and other technology concerns. Participate in weekly supervision and use supervision as an opportunity problem-solving and professional development.
