We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technical Engineer to join our IT team in Raleigh. In this role, you will provide hands-on support across end-user services, infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies, ensuring colleagues across our global organisation receive exceptional technical support and a seamless technology experience
Working closely with IT colleagues, suppliers, and users worldwide, you'll play a key role in maintaining secure, stable, and efficient IT services while contributing to the delivery of infrastructure and cloud-based projects that support Biocair's continued growth.

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Technical Engineer to join our IT team in Raleigh. In this role, you will provide hands-on support across end-user services, infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies, ensuring colleagues across our global organisation receive exceptional technical support and a seamless technology experience
Working closely with IT colleagues, suppliers, and users worldwide, you'll play a key role in maintaining secure, stable, and efficient IT services while contributing to the delivery of infrastructure and cloud-based projects that support Biocair's continued growth.
Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across multiple global locations, ensuring a high-quality support experience.
- Configure, maintain and support user hardware including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
- Manage and resolve incidents through the IT Service Desk, ensuring service levels and priorities are met.
- Support and maintain infrastructure environments including servers, networking, security solutions and virtualised platforms.
- Lead or contribute to infrastructure, cloud and technology improvement projects
- Troubleshoot networking issues relating to LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi and firewall technologies.

Work Structure:
- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
- Hybrid with 60% of the working week spent working based from our Raleigh, NC office

What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience providing 2nd and 3rd line IT support within a professional environment.
- Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server environments, Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Experience working within a busy IT Service
- Desk or technical support environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across desktop, infrastructure and networking technologies.
- Experience supporting network technologies including firewalls, LAN, WAN and VPN environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with users at all levels.
