Italian - English OPI/ VRI Interpreter

KalamCX is looking for Italian–English Interpreters to join our remote team as OPI/VRI Medical Interpreters.

In this role, you will provide accurate and professional interpretation between Italian-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals, helping ensure clear and effective communication during medical conversations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate interpretation between Italian and English during medical calls.
• Interpret simultaneously while maintaining the meaning, tone, and context of the conversation.
• Follow strict confidentiality and professional standards.
• Use appropriate healthcare terminology and maintain clear communication.
• Assist patients and healthcare providers in communicating effectively.
• Follow the Interpreter Code of Conduct and company guidelines.

Requirements:

• Native or near-native proficiency in Italian.
• C1-level English proficiency.
• Strong communication, listening, and comprehension skills.
• Previous interpretation or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely and follow the required operational schedule.
• Stable wired internet connection.
• Windows 10+ computer with at least 8 GB RAM.
• Wired USB headset and external webcam.
