In this role, you have the opportunity to ensure Philips can reliably deliver Image Guided Therapy Systems and services to customers worldwide by leading our global warehousing, distribution, transportation and site logistics capabilities.
You will drive operational excellence across the end-to-end physical supply chain, balancing customer service, cost, and employee engagement while shaping the future of logistics through digitalization, automation and continuous improvement.
Your role:
- Owning the global Integrated Warehouse & Distribution organization for IGT Systems and leading end-to-end logistics execution, covering inbound logistics, trade compliance, outbound distribution and customer shipment performance.
- Leading all logistics operations at the Best manufacturing and distribution campus, ensuring safety, compliance, operational excellence, business continuity and an engaging working environment for employees and partners.
- Developing and executing the logistics strategy across IGT-S, driving performance, network design, resilience and competitiveness while enabling business growth and operational scalability.
- Accountable for warehouse and transportation performance, including service levels, on-time delivery, lead times, freight optimization, warehouse productivity, logistics quality and customer satisfaction.
- Leading the transformation of logistics operations through transportation and warehousing management systems, automation, AI and advanced analytics.
- Driving operational excellence through Lean methodologies, continuous improvement programs and standardization across warehousing, transportation and distribution processes.
- Ensuring inventory integrity and operational control through effective warehouse governance, stock accuracy management, cycle counting, loss prevention and audit readiness in a highly regulated environment.
- Leading logistics readiness for New Product Introductions, manufacturing transfers, footprint changes, business growth initiatives and network optimization programs, ensuring seamless implementation with minimal disruption to operations.
- Building strong partnerships with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service and external logistics providers to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of logistics managers, warehouse leaders and logistics professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, engagement and continuous improvement.
You will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain organization of Philips Image Guided Therapy Systems in Best, the Netherlands, reporting to the Integrated Planning Leader IGT-Systems. The Integrated Warehouse & Distribution organization plays a critical role in connecting manufacturing, suppliers, customers and logistics partners while delivering world-class operational performance and customer experience.
You're the right fit if:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, transportation, distribution, supply chain operations or manufacturing logistics.
- Proven experience leading large operational organizations and complex logistics networks in a regulated industry such as medical devices, healthcare, high-tech manufacturing, aerospace or semiconductor industries.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP ERP/S4HANA, transportation management, logistics automation and analytics platforms such as Power BI and Power Platform.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale operational transformation programs, including digitalization, automation, process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record in people leadership, talent development and organizational change management within an international matrix organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to align diverse functions around common goals and drive results through collaboration and influence.
- Customer-focused, strategic and data-driven mindset, combined with strong execution capabilities and a passion for operational excellence.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €78,187.00 - €130,312.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision. We believe that we are better together than apart. This is an office role, based in Best, the Netherlands, with global responsibility. This means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
