Japanese Tutor

OTCA is currently looking for a Japanese Tutor to join our team! 👋

And yes, this is a remote opportunity! 🏠💻

For this role, we’re looking for someone who:

- Has a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language Education, Japanese Studies, Japanese Literature, or a related field

- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Current students are also welcome as long as they have JLPT N3 or JFT Basic A2 certification

- Has at least JLPT N3 or JFT Basic A2

- Is fluent in spoken and written Japanese

- Is available to teach OTCA’s regular classes, especially evening classes

- Has teaching experience (preferred)

- Ex-kenshuu with internship/training experience in Japan are also welcome to apply

- Is familiar with Zoom/Google Meet and Google Drive

- Passionate about teaching and working with students

- Disciplined, patient, responsible, and has good communication & leadership skills
