Senior Java Developer 100% (m/f/d) – Spring | Angular | Payment Processing

We are seeking an experienced professional to further develop and maintain the payment transaction applications EBICS, SWIFT, and MBCLT for a bank in Zurich.

Working within an existing Scrum team, you will develop backend and frontend components, implement business requirements, and support ongoing operations. You will collaborate closely with business departments and other IT teams.

Responsibilities:

* Independent implementation of features and stories within a Scrum team

* Analysis of business requirements and development of technical concepts and designs

* Development of backend components with Java/Spring and frontend components with Angular

* Further development of applications in the SWIFT, EBICS, and MBCLT environments

* Responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of deliverables

* Provision of 2nd level support and incident management within agreed working hours

Experience:

* Several years of experience as a senior developer with Java/Spring and Angular

* Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL, especially Oracle and PostgreSQL

* Experience with agile development methodologies and collaboration in a Scrum team

* Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

* Independent, structured, and quality-conscious work style

* Willingness to take on support and operational tasks

* German language skills at level C2 and English language skills at level B2
