🔎 We are looking for a Java Developer

📝 MAIN TASKS

• Design, develop, and maintain insurance product solutions within a risk exchange platform.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications using Java.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and Agile development processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop, optimize, and support SQL and MongoDB databases.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform by adopting industry best practices and emerging technologies.

🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong expertise in Java development and object-oriented programming.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and database design.
• Experience working with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Fully remote position, with candidates required to reside in Portugal.

• This role offers a gross annual salary between €25.000 and €60.500, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
