Java Developer for Insurance Software

About the Project We have been developing reliable software for insurance companies in Slovakia for more than 15 years. We are a stable team of 30 members. Main Responsibilities Design and development of scalable microservices using Java Contributing to solutions for mission-critical systems in the insurance sector, including ongoing software architecture improvements Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Java Understanding of microservices architecture (e.g. Spring Boot) Git, JIRA, build tools (Maven / Gradle) RESTful APIs, JSON, XML 2+ years' experience in application development Tech Stack Java, Kotlin Spring Boot MS SQL Redis Microservices REST RPC Personality Independent, with strong debugging skills and a problem-solver DNA You aren't afraid to challenge the status quo and share your own ideas for improvement Teamwork — you will closely cooperate with your team members Ability to take a task from idea to production (follow-through) Professional Growth Opportunities You will work within a very experienced team of senior developers who are prepared to listen to your ideas and will help you grow Conditions Start: Immediately Contract: Full-time Work model: Hybrid — 3 days on-site / 2 days remote (initially 100% on-site) Location: Bratislava
