Java Distributed Systems Engineer at BairesDev

As a Java Distributed Systems Engineer, you will design and build complex distributed systems that handle consensus, replication, and fault tolerance at scale. You will apply advanced systems programming principles to ensure data consistency and high availability across large-scale Java environments.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement distributed coordination and consensus protocols to manage system state.
• Design highly available architectures that eliminate single points of failure through data replication.
• Optimize Java-based services for low latency and high throughput using gRPC and efficient networking.
• Develop robust fault-tolerance mechanisms, including self-healing and automated recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define consistency models and handle complex concurrency challenges.
• Ensure system reliability and performance through rigorous testing of distributed failure scenarios.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
• Proven expertise in designing and building systems that handle consensus, replication, and fault tolerance at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and experience with high-performance networking using gRPC.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed consistency protocols.
• Strong background in systems programming beyond standard CRUD operations.
