The Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join one of our fast-growing client teams, the market leader in anti-corruption and anti-money laundering software.

This is a full-time, long-term remote engagement. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful solutions to support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable backend services using Java and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, security, and performance optimization
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support business logic and front-end applications
• Work extensively with cloud environments, leveraging containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, ensuring high availability and system reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of post-internship professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Expert-level proficiency with Java and core features
• Deep expertise with the Spring Framework
• Proven track record in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of Cloud Computing principles
• Solid grasp of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
