Join us in shaping the future of network management technology! Develop and enhance Micro Service components for Network Management Systems in Optical/Transport Networks. Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Evaluate and integrate open-source software to maintain product functionality and improve system architecture. Drive continuous improvement in software quality, architecture, and development methodologies. Contribute to team decisions, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and innovation. Monitor and address technical debt while balancing cost/benefit in enhancements and features. Mentor junior engineers, guiding them in best practices and fostering their professional growth. MSc / BS in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts, data structures, and multi-threading Proficiency in database concepts Fluent in English, both spoken and written It would be nice if you also had: Experience with Java, J2EE, EJB 3.1, Hibernate, JPA, GWT Familiarity with application servers, especially WildFly Knowledge of Angular programming Experience with network technologies (e.g., Ethernet, IP, DWDM) and REST/Event Driven Architecture (e.g. Kafka, NATs)
