This role is hybrid, 5 days/MONTH from the office in Bucharest.

🚀Then what?

Java Squad Lead (Technical Team Lead) joining a large-scale digital transformation program organized into tribes and squads, with the following tasks:

• Lead a squad of Software Developers and QAs, collaborating closely with transversal stakeholders (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, DevOps)
• Support the Delivery Lead to foster high technical standards and ensure project milestones are met
• Build, manage, and develop an engineering team that works well within the overall system architecture
• Perform hands-on technical activities and provide leadership on technical solutions
• Monitor and optimize the team’s performance, quality, and workload
• Help the team continuously improve its technical proficiency through skills ramp-up, mentoring, regular syncs, and feedback
• Set individual performance objectives and review the goals of squad members
• Participate in the recruitment of new developers to hire and develop the best
• Contribute to the successful delivery of new product features as part of an agile development team

Required technical skills:

• Min. 7 years of senior development expertise on backend (Java Spring) or frontend (Angular)
• Min. 2 years of experience in a Team Leading role (including experience setting/reviewing objectives)
• Experience in developing microservices solutions based on Spring Boot, or frontend applications using Angular
• Experience in cloud environments (Azure is preferred)
• Practical experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and tools (JIRA)
• International experience or working in international projects is a strong plus
