We're looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to join an international engineering team building highly scalable payment solutions. Tech Stack Java Spring Boot Kubernetes (Kubernetes/OpenShift) Containers AWS PostgreSQL (Amazon RDS/Aurora) Cassandra (Instaclustr/Keyspaces) What you'll be doing Lead a team of engineers building and supporting mission-critical applications. Drive technical excellence throughout the software development lifecycle. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices. Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making across multiple engineering teams. Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Support production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. What we're looking for Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Developer leading development teams. Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Experience developing and operating cloud-native applications. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerized environments. Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra. Experience participating in software architecture and system design discussions. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Advanced English. Nice to have Experience with Pix or other real-time payment platforms. Experience with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) . Experience in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments. Work model This is a hybrid role.
