The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Maintain and build territory sales, driving growth and developing new business opportunities within the designated geography
- Accountable for fiscal growth targets and budgets
- Educate healthcare staff on products, standards, and guidelines, positioning Solventum as a solutions provider
- Work and collaborate with Solventum internal sales and marketing team
- Manage long selling cycles consisting of multiple touch points
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- Highschool/ GED AND eight (8) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Current and valid driving license
- Two (2) years of healthcare, medical and/or pharmaceutical sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Two (2) years of experience in surgical solutions and sterilization monitoring in a private, public, government or military environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer focus and consultative skills, with a proven ability to develop solutions that address customer needs
- Strong business acumen with clear understanding of healthcare sales & marketing processes
- Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce)
Work location:
· Remote- Northern Ontario
Travel: May include up to 50% domestic travel including overnights stays and flights
Relocation: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, skills, training, and work location, in alignment with Canadian pay equity and pay transparency requirements. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation components (e.g., incentive programs) and a comprehensive suite of benefits available to employees in Canada.
