About this job:
We are looking for a Middle Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce team and support a long-term project for a leading US university in the Higher Education industry.
The project focuses on the evolution and support of the university's Salesforce environment as it transitions toward a Managed Services model. You will work on Salesforce development, platform enhancements, integrations, and backlog items, collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, and the client's team.
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Hybrid work may become available if the company opens an office in São Paulo
How you'll make an impact:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements;
- Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations with external systems;
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs;
- Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce configurations and customizations;
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft);
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce development standards and security best practices;
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and evaluate the applicability of new features to ongoing projects;
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions;
- Provide guidance and recommendations on technical decisions and best practices;
- Encourage the adoption of standard solutions and best practices to optimize Salesforce usage and efficiency.
What makes you a great fit:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required;
- Proven experience in supporting and implementing Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration;
- Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs;
- Experience with Salesforce DX and modern DevOps practices;
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits;
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
You are a star if you have:
- Experience working on Salesforce projects in the nonprofit, NGO, charity, or fundraising space;
- Familiarity with donor management, donations, fundraising, grants, or similar processes;
- Experience with US-based clients;
- Availability to work with teams and clients in the EST time zone.
