Job Summary

The role involves developing Qlik Sense dashboards, analyzing data, identifying trends, supporting reporting needs, and collaborating with team members to deliver data-driven insights using tools like SQL, Python, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and data visualizations that present information clearly to end-users and support business decision-making.
  
• Assist with analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential insights.
  
• Work with team members to understand reporting and data requirements and translate them into dashboards and visualizations.
  
• Perform basic to intermediate data queries, validation, and analysis using SQL and other appropriate tools.
  
• Assist with preparing, cleaning, and organizing data for reporting and visualization.
  
• Support the development and maintenance of BI reports, dashboards, and data products in accordance with established standards.
  
• Help troubleshoot dashboard, reporting, and data-quality issues and escalate more complex issues when needed.
  
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data needs and communicate findings clearly.
  
• Use Python, AI tools, and other analytical technologies to support data analysis and improve reporting processes.
  
• Document dashboards, analyses, processes, and other technical information as needed.
  
• Learn and apply established business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting best practices.
  
• Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests from team members and leadership.
  

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization, or a related field.
  
• Foundational experience with SQL and working with structured data.
  
• Experience with or exposure to Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, or another BI/data visualization platform.
  
• Basic experience with Python or another programming/scripting language is preferred.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to identify trends and communicate data findings in a clear, concise manner.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical team members.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating or supporting Qlik Sense dashboards.
  
• Exposure to data modeling, ETL/data preparation, or data warehousing concepts.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools used for data analysis, automation, or productivity.
  
• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
  
• Familiarity with federal government or enterprise BI environments.
