Junior Accountant

eCarsTrade operates a digital platform for the B2B resale of ex-lease cars. We have customers across Europe, and via our proprietary platform we sell a combination of our own stock and consignment vehicles through auctions and fixed prices. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone eager to start a career in accounting and learn from experienced professionals. Able to communicate in English (both written and spoken) 1–2 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience Basic but applied knowledge of accounting principles Understanding of VAT principles is strongly preferred, if possible EU VAT principles Familiarity with Exact Online or similar accounting software is a plus Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn digital tools Profile We are looking for someone who is: Proficient in English language Eager to learn and motivated to build a career in accounting Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented Able to work independently while being a strong team player in a remote setting Curious about digital tools and willing to support process automation Committed, reliable, and proactive in supporting the finance team Discreet, able to handle confidential information Processing incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts payable & receivable), payment matching Preparing and registering payments Supporting VAT registration by ensuring correct VAT coding and documentation Maintaining accurate records in our accounting software General administrative support for contracts and finance-related documentation Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing international company Coaching and development from experienced finance professionals A youthful, entrepreneurial environment where initiative is valued Competitive entry-level compensation package Fully remote position with flexibility, while still being part of a collaborative team Possibility to grow into more senior finance roles over time Starting date: as soon as possible
