As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team based in our Limassol office.

The Role
As a Junior Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting the Finance team with the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. You will work closely with colleagues across the department, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately, statutory obligations are met, and reporting deadlines are achieved. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and enjoy working collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry and transaction documentation.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support the preparation of financial reports.
- Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries related to accounting matters.
- Assist in Any ad hoc tasks required from the finance manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
- Any other task assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting softwares (Xero experience will be considered an advantage).
- Good understanding of VAT and basic Cyprus accounting practices will be considered an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
