Job Summary**

Havas is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced agency environment, supporting various accounting functions and contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliation.
* Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes.
* Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
* Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Perform data entry and maintain various spreadsheets and databases.
* Assist with audits and tax preparations as required.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
* Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, internships are a plus.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
