Verisure is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate Junior AP Accountant to strengthen our Finance Team. The role will report to our Shared Services Center P2P Manager and will be based in Lisbon.

On the back of the extraordinary growth, we have enjoyed in the past years, we aim to strengthen our Shared Services Center team and further develop the Accounting function. The Junior AP Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure smooth communication between all stakeholders

Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs

Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reports

Process Payments

Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required

Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis

Assist manager and peers on the daily activity

Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

Requirements:

3 to 4 years of previous relevant experience within an international, fast-paced company

Good level of English is mandatory
Experience as an ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE, or other)

Good MsOffice skills (particularly in Excel)

Flexibility and ability to work autonomously, liaising with stakeholders based abroad

Attention to detail and ability to solve problems and prioritize requests

Ability to strive in a fast-paced international/multicultural complex environment
Eager to learn and grow with the team

Experience and Qualifications

We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals while Group Accounting aims for centralization and automation.

As a result, we are looking for a self-starter and high potential / top performer individual who will combine Accounting knowledge with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.

3 to 4 years of previous relevant experience within an international, fast-paced company

Good level of English is mandatory
