British American Tobacco POLAND has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Business Strategy Manager in WARSAW
Join our Central Europe Strategy, Performance & Insights team and help turn data into decisions across a complex, fast-moving consumer business. As Junior Business Strategy Manager, you will combine analytics, commercial understanding and storytelling to help senior leaders understand performance, anticipate competitive moves and identify growth opportunities across the Area. You will work across markets, categories and functions to monitor performance, understand competitive dynamics and identify the risks, opportunities and choices that matter most.
You will build user-friendly reports, dashboards and analytics solutions that improve access to information, reduce manual effort and strengthen data-driven decision-making across the Area. This is a visible development opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond reporting and become a trusted business partner. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, performance management and analytics, enabling faster and better-informed commercial decisions across Central Europe. You will support senior management reviews, strategic planning cycles and recurring performance forums, while helping modernise how the organisation uses data, competitor intelligence, automation and self-service analytics.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse market, category, competitor, and business performance data and translate findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Develop concise performance messages, strategic implications, and recommendations that help senior stakeholders prioritize actions.
- Deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership reviews, business updates, and strategic planning.
- Connect data, market context, and business judgment into clear, decision-ready stories that drive action.
- Create scalable reporting solutions that improve visibility of business performance and enable self-service analytics.
- Establish a structured competitor intelligence process, capturing market developments and translating them into business implications.
- Improve efficiency through automation, self-service reporting, and practical AI solutions that reduce manual work and enhance data accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Insights, Forecasting, Technology, and local markets to foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
What are we looking for?
- 2-4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, marketing planning, consulting or a comparable data-driven business role.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and turn analysis into actionable insights, recommendations and business implications.
- Experience developing dashboards, management reports, business storytelling and executive-level presentations.
- Experience in multinational FMCG, consumer goods, retail, consulting, analytics or research environments.
- Experience working with syndicated market data, for example NielsenIQ or equivalent sources.
