Junior C++ Software Engineer – Kildare (Hybrid)

Location: Kildare – Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Type: Permanent

This is a great opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer, Electronic Engineering graduate or Computer Engineering graduate who wants to build a career working across software, electronics, embedded systems, AI and Machine Learning. You don't necessarily need extensive commercial software experience. Candidates with strong technical fundamentals gained through university projects, internships, placements or early commercial experience will be considered.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Good programming skills in C++ and/or Python
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Exposure to Linux
• Understanding of electronic systems and hardware/software interaction
• Interest in embedded systems and edge computing
• Exposure to Machine Learning / Deep Learning would be beneficial
• PyTorch, TensorFlow or similar would be an advantage

You’ll be joining a strong and experienced engineering team with low staff turnover and an excellent working environment. The role offers plenty of opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and develop your skills across both software and electronic engineering.
