Junior Cost Estimating Engineer

Progeco Group is currently recruiting a Junior Cost Estimating Engineer for a strategic Offshore & Onshore Engineering project based in Cairo, Egypt.

The selected candidate will support cost estimation and project control activities for major Energy and Oil & Gas projects, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of project cost estimates.
• Analyze engineering documentation and project specifications.
• Assist in the development of CAPEX estimates and budgets.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost breakdown structures.
• Collect and analyze cost data from suppliers and historical databases.
• Support project teams during feasibility studies and project development phases.
• Prepare cost reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement and Project Control departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, Chemical or equivalent).
• 0-3 years of experience in Cost Estimation, Cost Control or Project Control activities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with EPC projects is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP, Primavera P6 or Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent English.
• Egyptian nationality or valid work authorization in Egypt.

Contract Information:

• Start Date: 15 November 2026
• Initial End Date: 31 December 2026
• Probability of extension up to 1 year
• Location: New Cairo, Egypt
• Hybrid working model available

Contract Type: Employment contract or consultancy agreement with PROGECO GROUP.
