We are adding a Junior Digital Project Coordinator to our team to support a significant new engagement with a major British financial institution. At Pixel Systems, we do not build flashy apps or marketing sites. We build the internal tools that businesses rely on every day, such as admin panels and database integrations. In this role, you will help us manage the requirements and schedules for this financial project, ensuring that our developers and the client stay aligned as we move data and build out new system connections.
About Pixel Systems
Pixel Systems is a small software agency that operates as a fully remote team. We focus on the practical side of software development: the database migrations, CRM setups, and internal dashboards that keep operations running. We believe that a working piece of software is always better than a perfect plan that never gets finished. Our approach is simple. We provide fixed quotes, we show our progress in weekly demos, and we hand over every piece of the project, including the code and walkthrough videos, when the job is done.
Our team is made up of people who prefer solving real problems over chasing the latest industry trends. We use reliable technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because they work and they are easy to maintain. Because we are remote, we value clear writing and direct communication. We skip the office politics and focus on shipping work that helps our clients replace messy spreadsheets with stable, automated systems.
The role
As a Junior Digital Project Coordinator, your main task is to keep our projects organized and moving forward. You will spend a lot of your time acting as a bridge between our technical team and the client. For the major British financial project, this means tracking tasks, documenting system requirements, and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen next. This is a fully remote position where you will be expected to manage your own schedule and stay on top of the details.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate internal meetings and take clear, actionable notes for the development team.
- Help maintain the project schedule to ensure we meet our weekly demo milestones.
- Assist in writing documentation that explains how new internal tools and databases work.
- Act as a point of contact for the client to gather necessary information or assets.
- Review project tasks to ensure they match the requirements set by the financial institution.
- Organize the delivery of walkthrough videos and final documentation at the end of a project.
- Track potential technical roadblocks and flag them to the senior team early.
- Help test new features from a user perspective to ensure they solve the operational headache they were intended for.
What we are looking for
We need someone who is organized and enjoys the process of bringing order to a project. You do not need to be a senior project manager, but you should be someone who naturally keeps lists and pays attention to the fine print. Since we work with technical systems, you should be comfortable learning how databases and APIs function on a basic level. We value clarity and honesty over corporate jargon.
You should have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for a remote work environment.
- The ability to take complex information and summarize it into clear steps.
- A basic understanding of how websites or software tools are put together.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and task management software.
- A reliable and disciplined approach to working independently.
- The ability to ask questions when something is unclear rather than guessing.
- An interest in how businesses use technology to solve internal problems.
Helpful background
While this is an entry-level role, there are a few things that might make your start easier. If you have ever used tools like GitHub or looked at how a database like Postgres is structured, that will be helpful. Familiarity with the basics of React or Node is also a plus, as it helps you understand what the developers are talking about during our weekly demos. Any experience you have with basic data entry or organizing files in a professional setting will translate well to the coordination tasks we handle daily.
Working at Pixel Systems
Working here means being part of a team that values your output more than your job title. We have a flat structure, which means you will work directly with our senior developers and the agency founders. There are no layers of management to navigate. You will see your work help real people, like the teams at the major British financial institution, perform their jobs more efficiently. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive salary that is attractive for an entry-level role in today's market. We provide a stable, no-drama environment where we get the work done and respect each other's time.
Pixel Systems is a place for people who want to learn how software projects are actually managed and delivered. We do not expect you to know everything on day one, but we do expect you to be curious and diligent. We focus on building tools that last and maintaining a work culture that is grounded in reality. If you prefer a straightforward way of working and want to help us build systems that matter, you will fit in well here.
