Junior Economist - only Malta based candidates need apply

PKF Malta is currently looking to recruit an energetic Junior Economist to work within our growing Advisory team.

Duties

As a Junior Economist, your day to day will involve:

• Data collection, collation and analysis for various advisory assignments
• Use econometric and statistical techniques to analyse data at hand
• Carry out desk-based and first-hand research as appropriate for our clients
• Articulate project findings into a clear business report
• Attend client meetings as appropriate and present findings
• Work closely with senior members of the team to translate growth opportunities into tangible proposals
• Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks and general support to the senior members of the team

Skillsets and Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in both Maltese & English
• Good command of English and strong business writing skills
• Sound problem solving capabilities
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, under stress and around tight deadlines
• Must be based in Malta

Education & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Economics or equivalent. Candidates with an M.A. or MSc. in Economics (or related subject area) will be preferred
• 2 – 3 years in management consulting or a similar role will be considered an asset
