Junior Geologist

About the Role

We are looking for a new team member to support the delivery of hydrology, hydraulics, and water management projects for the mining industry. Working closely with senior engineers, you will contribute to technical analyses, engineering design, and the development of practical water management solutions throughout the project lifecycle

Working under the guidance of Intermediate and Senior professionals, you will contribute to technical analyses, field investigations, engineering calculations, and the design of mining and water management infrastructure. You will gain exposure to multidisciplinary projects supporting clients across the mining and natural resources sectors.

This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To

• Support hydrologic and hydraulic assessments for mining and water infrastructure projects.

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Develop and analyze water balance models and water management strategies.

• Process and interpret hydrological, meteorological, and field data to support engineering studies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and practical water resources solutions.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, or Geological Engineering.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, or related water resources fields.

• Experience with water resources modelling tools such as HEC-RAS and GIS-based applications.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow within a consulting environment.
