Junior German-Speaking Customs Technician

Continental's tire division employs more than 56,000 people worldwide and has 19 production and 16 development sites. · Monitor the arrival and customs clearance of import shipments from non-EU countries for release into free circulation across all modes of transport. · Ensure compliance with all applicable customs regulations, legal requirements, and import prohibitions and restrictions in Germany. · Process shipments from non-EU countries for release into free circulation, including the preparation and submission of simplified customs declarations. · Monitor incoming import shipments and perform daily goods receipt controls. · Communicate and coordinate with internal business units, suppliers, freight forwarders, consignees, and warehouse operators. · Prepare all customs-related documentation and support internal and external audits, including the review of customs invoices and tax assessments issued by external service providers. · Provide customs-related advice and support to business units and affiliated group companies. · Contribute to cross-functional activities, including reporting, projects, testing, and business release management. · Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in industrial business administration, freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field. · Min. 1 year of professional experience in international trade, import, and export operations. · Proficiency in standard IT applications, as well as SAP R/3 and SAP GTS. · Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills. · Structured, independent, and process-oriented working style. · Strong customer service and stakeholder management orientation. · Strong commitment to quality and problem-solving · fostering innovation and continuous improvement · Communicates effectively and with impact · Promotes and fosters effective teamwork What we offer: 13th salary; Performance bonus; Christmas & Easter bonus; Seniority bonus; Flexible working time; Competitive salaries & benefits; Health & wellness (Life Assurance, Private Health and Dental Insurance, Sport activities, Canteen, 24/7 Helpline with Psychologists etc.); Different discounts (tires, glasses, medical, shopping, etc.); Relocation bonus for non-Timisoara Residents; Professional development opportunities (in Technical and Leadership Areas); International Work Environment & Traveling Opportunities.
