About the department
Global IT Support serves as the single point of contact for more than 17,000 users across the Coloplast organization, supporting all sites and functions globally. At Coloplast Business Centre in Szczecin we support colleagues worldwide, ensuring fast restoration of IT services and protecting business continuity. Our work combines high-quality remote support with local on-site assistance (PitStop), and close cooperation across our Digital, Data & IT area.
About the job
As a (Junior) IT Supporter, you'll support Coloplast employees worldwide, solving a broad range of IT issues and taking ownership from first contact through to resolution. You'll contribute to service improvements, develop expertise in dedicated knowledge areas, and actively participate in DD&IT initiatives. Working with both global and local colleagues, you'll provide remote support to users across the organization as well as on-site assistance in our Szczecin office, making sure issues are resolved efficiently, escalations are high-quality, and services keep running smoothly.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide IT support to Coloplast employees worldwide via phone, e-mail, and request forms
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to computers, mobile devices, printing, IT systems, user accounts, and access management
- Resolve incidents and requests independently, including complex cases with extended permissions
- Ensure all calls and emails are logged accurately within the ticketing system
- Contribute to DD&IT initiatives such as testing, transitions, go-lives, and hypercare activities
- Escalate more complex cases to the relevant DD&IT teams with clear, complete information
- Provide on-site IT support to colleagues in our Szczecin office as part of the PitStop rotation
- Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, keeping documentation up to date, and identifying improvement areas
Requirements:
- Experience in IT support/ service desk, preferably in an international environment
- Very good English (spoken and written)
- Solid knowledge about IT systems in general (Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
- Good understanding of computer hardware and workplace IT technologies
- Network basics (VPN, Wi-Fi, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Availability to work in a 2-shift model (08:00–16:00 and 14:00/15:00–22:00/23:00) Monday-Friday
Nice to have:
- Experience with automation or scripting (e.g. PowerShell, AutoHotkey)
- Basic knowledge of ITIL

- Ability to explain technical aspects to non-technical users in a simple and clear way
- Strong organizational skills with a structured and systematic approach to work
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures in a global environment
