🔎 We are looking for a Junior KYC Analyst

Are you interested in banking, compliance and financial crime prevention? We are hiring Junior KYC Analysts to join a banking project in Lisbon.

📝 MAIN TASKS

• Support Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including client onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Collect, review and validate client information and supporting documentation.
• Help identify ownership structures and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
• Perform screening checks for sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and adverse media.
• Identify missing information, inconsistencies and potential risk indicators, escalating findings to the relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate client records and document the analysis performed.
• Liaise with internal teams to follow up on outstanding information and documentation.
• Follow internal procedures and quality standards while meeting agreed deadlines.

🧩 YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Law or a related field.
• Interest in banking, compliance, KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
• Previous experience or an internship in banking, financial services, compliance, audit or back-office operations is a plus.
• Recent graduates and candidates starting their careers are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon.
