Junior Microsoft Fabric Consultant

Location: Ireland- Remote

Salary: €35,000-€45,000 depending on experience

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

We are looking for Junior Microsoft Fabric Consultant's to join a small but highly experienced Data & AI consultancy based in Dublin. The company operates a remote-first model, meaning you can be based anywhere in Ireland and will not be expected to regularly travel into the Dublin office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their data career who wants to develop into a well-rounded consultant. You'll work alongside experienced Data & AI professionals, gaining exposure to real client projects while developing your technical skills across Microsoft Fabric and the wider Microsoft data ecosystem.

We're ideally looking for someone with 1–2 years of commercial experience and a background in Data Engineering. Previous Microsoft Fabric experience would be highly beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates with strong data fundamentals who are curious, eager to learn and comfortable working directly with clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work alongside senior consultants to deliver Data & Analytics solutions for clients.
  • Help design, build and maintain modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and support data transformation and integration activities.
  • Work with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, Power BI and Azure.
  • Support clients in bringing together data from multiple sources into scalable, reliable data platforms.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions with support from senior team members.
  • Assist with testing, documentation and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot data and platform issues.
  • Continue developing your knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and modern Data Engineering practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally within Data Engineering, Data & Analytics or a related area.
  • A good foundation in SQL and an understanding of data engineering concepts.
  • Some experience building or working with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes or data platforms.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric would be highly desirable.
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake or similar would also be useful.
  • An interest in developing a career within Microsoft Data & AI consulting.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with the wider team.

The Person

Technical experience is important, but attitude and potential are equally important for this position. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious and eager to learn. You don't need to know everything about Microsoft Fabric already; you'll be joining an experienced team that can help you develop.

You'll enjoy investigating problems, learning new technologies and understanding how things work rather than simply following instructions.

Because this is a consultancy, you'll also need to enjoy working with people. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, asking questions, understanding their challenges and gradually developing into someone they can trust to advise them.

What's On Offer

  • €35,000–€45,000 salary, depending on experience.
  • Permanent position.
  • Remote-first working from anywhere in Ireland.
  • Opportunity to specialise in Microsoft Fabric and modern Data Engineering.
  • Hands-on exposure to real client projects from an early stage.
  • Mentoring and support from a small, highly experienced consultancy team.
  • Significant opportunity for learning and professional development.
  • The chance to develop both your technical and consulting skills, rather than being limited to a purely technical role.
