Junior Network Engineer

As a Graduate Microwave Test Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to validate innovative microwave products and ensure they meet the highest quality standards. You will learn how modern telecom systems are designed, integrated, tested, and automated while developing expertise in networking, radio technologies, Python programming, and AI-driven testing methodologies.

• Learn how microwave transport systems are developed and validated.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of test plans for hardware, software, and system features.
• Build and maintain test environments and laboratory setups.
• Develop automated test scripts using Python.
• Use AI-assisted tools to generate and improve test cases and automation scripts.
• Analyze test results, logs, and protocol traces to identify issues and support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with software developers, firmware designers, and system architects.
• Learn networking technologies, Ethernet protocols, and network management systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

You have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking concepts.
• Basic programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Curiosity for new technologies and willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in Italian
• Good communication skills in English.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge of wireless or radio communication systems.
• Experience with Linux.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent platforms.
• Academic or personal projects involving software development, automation, or networking.

• Fluency in Italian

  Italy Salary range
  Annual Base Salary Range: 25,666.67 - 47,666.67 Euro
  Target Incentive: 5 - 7.50%
