Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to support a software code migration project.

The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably within software development environments. The role requires strong stakeholder management, coordination, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams in a fast-paced organization.

The candidate will work closely with software development teams and project stakeholders to coordinate migration activities, track project progress, manage dependencies, identify risks and issues, and support the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of the software code migration project.
• Coordinate project activities across software development and technical teams.
• Work closely with developers, technical leads, and project stakeholders throughout the migration.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate project meetings, status updates, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain project plans, documentation, schedules, and progress reports.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies and support timely resolution.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate migration activities across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Ensure clear communication of project objectives, timelines, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Support software delivery and migration activities.
• Escalate risks, delays, and critical dependencies where required.
• Support the project through planning, execution, migration, and completion.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Experience working with software development teams.
• Understanding of software development and delivery processes.
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Familiarity with code repositories and version control systems.
• Understanding of code migration and software delivery workflows.
• Experience coordinating technical or software development projects.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting cloud migration or code migration projects.
• Experience working with code repository migration initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple technical teams.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience with code migration projects.
