The role
As a major financial services provider is expanding, the complexity of their internal data and decision-making processes increases. The Junior Prompt Engineer exists to support our consulting team by translating high-level business requirements into precise instructions for language models. This is a fully remote position that requires a careful, analytical approach to language, ensuring that the AI tools we use provide accurate and relevant support for our client projects. You will help us turn vast amounts of organizational data into clear, written paths forward for leadership teams.

What you will do

• Draft and refine prompts for various language models to assist in the analysis of internal organizational documents.
• Test different phrasing and structures to ensure the AI produces reliable summaries of financial and operational reports.
• Collaborate with our consultants to build templates that identify operational friction within large corporate datasets.
• Maintain a library of successful prompt iterations to ensure consistency and repeatability across different client engagements.
• Analyze model outputs for accuracy, checking them against the original source material to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Document the logic behind specific prompt choices to help the wider team understand how to achieve similar results in the future.
• Support the transition of manual research tasks into more structured, AI-assisted workflows.
