Role Description This full-time Junior Quantity Surveyor role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home. The role involves assisting in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for commercial and residential projects. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support senior team members in cost planning, value engineering, and budget monitoring throughout the project lifecycle. Daily tasks include measuring and valuing works on-site, tracking variations, supporting interim and final accounts, and maintaining accurate cost and project documentation. The role also includes liaising with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, contributing to procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.

• Strong foundation in quantity surveying principles, including measurement, cost estimating, and preparation of bills of quantities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with quantity surveying or construction management software.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, and basic commercial and contractual administration.
• Effective analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in cost data.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with project managers, site teams, clients, and suppliers.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a project team in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant qualification or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Interest in commercial and residential refurbishment, restoration, fit-out, and design-and-build projects; previous internship or site experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical practice, health and safety standards, and continuous professional development; eligibility or interest in pursuing professional membership (e.g., SCSI/RICS) is beneficial.
