Junior ServiceNow Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ServiceNow Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform. The selected candidate will assist with user administration, platform support, incident resolution, and basic configuration activities. This is a 12-month engagement, fully remote or from a local office, requiring 1–3 years of experience and fluent English.

Core Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Perform daily ServiceNow administration activities; manage users, groups, roles, and access permissions; support instance maintenance, monitoring, and health checks; assist with platform upgrades, patches, and release activities; monitor platform performance and escalate issues when needed.
• Incident and Request Support: Resolve ServiceNow administration tickets and service requests; support troubleshooting of platform issues and workflow errors; coordinate with ServiceNow support and development teams on issue resolution.
• Configuration and Enhancements: Configure forms, fields, notifications, reports, and dashboards; assist with workflow updates, catalog items, and knowledge articles; support testing of enhancements and platform changes; maintain system configurations and documentation.
• Documentation and Governance: Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and KB articles; support audit, compliance, and access review activities; ensure adherence to platform governance and change management processes.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform administration.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change, Problem Management).
• Familiarity with user administration, roles, and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  
  

Preferred Skills And Certifications

• Knowledge of the ServiceNow ITSM module.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript.
• Exposure to workflows, Service Catalog, and reporting.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts.
• Experience with Agile or ITIL practices.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
