Junior Social Media & Video Content Creator — Indie Game

Vilwayer Studio is looking for a creative Social Media & Video Content Creator to help grow the online presence of our upcoming multiplayer game, Cheese Panic.

Cheese Panic is a chaotic asymmetric multiplayer game built around cats, mice, teamwork, stealing food, traps, abilities and unpredictable player interactions.

We're looking for someone who understands short-form content and wants to turn gameplay moments into entertaining TikToks, Reels, Shorts, memes and community content.

This is an entry-level position. Previous professional experience is not required.

What you'll do

• Create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Turn raw gameplay footage into engaging and entertaining content
• Find funny, chaotic or interesting moments worth posting
• Follow current trends and adapt them to our games
• Come up with video concepts, hooks, memes and recurring content formats
• Publish and manage content across our social media channels
• Experiment with different styles and formats
• Analyze views, engagement, retention and other basic performance metrics
• Help shape the online personality of Cheese Panic and Vilwayer Studio
• Work directly with the development team to request footage or content when needed

We don't want someone who only waits for editing instructions.

You'll have the freedom to propose ideas, experiment with formats and influence how our games are presented online.

Who we're looking for

You might be a good fit if you:

• Understand TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts and current internet culture
• Enjoy gaming and game-related content
• Have basic video editing skills or are actively learning
• Can recognize what makes short-form content entertaining
• Like experimenting with memes, trends and different editing styles
• Can work independently and contribute your own ideas
• Want hands-on experience working with a real game project
• Want to build a portfolio in gaming, content creation or social media

Professional experience is not required.

A formal portfolio is also not necessary.

Personal TikToks, edits, memes, YouTube videos, school projects or experimental content are all welcome.
