About the role
We are looking for an Junior Software Engineer to work with cloud-based data platforms, analytics, and automation.
This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with data processing, cloud technologies, reporting, and engineering automation. You will work with experienced engineers, contribute to real-world data solutions, and gradually develop your skills across the modern data engineering stack.

Requirements
Hands-on knowledge of at least two of the following, gained through studies, internships, personal projects, or commercial experience:

• KQL
• PowerShell
• Power BI
• Python (pandas, PyArrow, pytest)
• Basic understanding of data processing and analytics
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and engineering practices

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of SQL, DAX, or Power Query M
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines (YAML)
• Basic experience with Azure CLI and Azure Storage
• Familiarity with Azure SQL and Key Vault
• Basic knowledge of Spark / Synapse
• Strong motivation to learn and expand expertise in these technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data processing and analytics solutions
• Analyze operational data and build queries, reports, and dashboards
• Develop automation for recurring data and operational workflows
• Work with cloud-based data storage and processing services
• Support data quality, validation, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
• Contribute to improving existing data pipelines and reporting processes

Availability expectations

• Ability to maintain regular overlap with the US Pacific Time zone (PT) for collaboration and meetings
