Initial compensation: No salary until the business achieves cash flow

Looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer Co-Founder to join me in building and launching a new SaaS product from the ground up.

This is not a traditional employment role. I am looking for someone who wants to become a genuine technical co-founder and owner of a SaaS business, take responsibility for the technology, and build something with long-term potential.

What I am looking for

You should have strong knowledge and practical experience across full-stack software development, with the ability to take a SaaS product from an idea to a working, scalable application.

You should be comfortable with:

• Full-stack web development
• Front-end and back-end development
• Modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• React, Next.js, or similar technologies
• Python and/or other strong backend languages
• APIs and third-party integrations
• Databases and cloud infrastructure
• Authentication, payments and SaaS architecture
• Git/GitHub and modern development workflows
• AI integration and AI-powered applications
• LLM APIs and AI automation
• Vibe coding and AI-assisted software development
• Using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Bolt, or similar AI development tools

You do not need to know every technology listed above. What matters most is that you are a strong problem solver, learn quickly, and understand how to use modern AI tools to build software significantly faster.

We will work together to:

• Identify and validate a strong SaaS opportunity
• Design and develop the MVP
• Use AI and modern development methods to accelerate development
• Launch the product
• Acquire our first users and customers
• Continuously improve the product based on real customer feedback
• Build the company towards sustainable revenue and long-term growth

Equity & compensation

Equity: 40%

The selected person will receive 40% ownership/equity in the SaaS startup, subject to a formal co-founder agreement and appropriate vesting arrangements.

There will be no salary or fixed compensation initially. We will both contribute our time and expertise while we build the product.

Once the business achieves sufficient cash flow/revenue, we can introduce compensation based on the company's financial position and our agreed structure.

This opportunity is therefore best suited to someone who is comfortable taking early-stage startup risk in exchange for significant ownership and the opportunity to build a company from the ground up.
