Junior Support Engineer (CAD/3D modelling)

We're looking engineers for one of our clients, an international engineering and technology company expanding its Budapest-based support team.

The company is looking for motivated early-career professionals who want to build practical experience in engineering support, technical documentation, CAD-related work and basic 3D modelling.

A part-time work arrangement would also be an option.

Responsibilities:

• Support engineering teams with technical and project-related activities.
• Assist with the preparation, review and organisation of engineering documentation.
• Contribute to basic CAD and 3D modelling tasks under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
• Update technical files, drawings, reports and project documentation.
• Collect and organise technical information required for engineering projects.
• Participate in onboarding, training and knowledge-transfer activities.
• Work remotely from Budapest during the initial phase and travel occasionally to Italy for short training periods.
• Follow company procedures concerning confidentiality, data protection and technical information.

Requirements:

• Recently completed degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline; alternatively, a technical or industrial secondary-school qualification with initial engineering experience.
• Residence in Hungary
• Strong interest in developing a career in engineering services and technical project support.
• Fluent English; Italian language skills are considered a strong advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software and/or 3D modelling tools.
• Accurate, organised and responsible working style, with the ability to work independently.
• Availability for permanent part-time employment, four hours per day.
• Willingness to undertake occasional short business trips to Italy.
• Willingness to sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
