As a junior sys-admin, you will be responsible for supporting our software development team in all aspects of infrastructure management for the successful development, testing, and implementation of our products. This role is in person and/or remote. Preference will be given to MT & PT US time zones. Ability to have flexible work hours and up to 20/hours a week JOB QUALIFICATIONS Experience with the following technologies is essential to successfully executing this role: Linux - Required Setup php / nginx / mysql Rsync and copying/moving data using the CLI File management processes using the CLI Bash scripting, backup scripts for example. SSH, basic understanding Mounting volumes, EFS and S3 Security principals Cron tasks AWS Cloud- Required Snapshots / AMI's Understanding of instance types and how to change them Auto Scaling / load balancers principles Security groups ECS container deployment and tasks S3 files storage and static hosting via Cloudfront Security and IAM permissions Lambda and serverless Billing and reports Cloudwatch monitoring, alarms & alerts Codedeploy RDS Databases Git / Gitlab- Required Deployment process Gitlab setup and configuration Gitlab user account management Runner configuration Git repo fundamentals PHP Installing, upgrading and multi-version installations PHP configuration PHP performance tuning Installing modules Nginx Hosts Configuration Setting up hostnames Multisite configuration HTTPS/SSL Certificates Linux Installation and renewal.
